  We found the Orange Beach Presbyterian Church to be very friendly. We were greeted by several people before and after the service and the pastor welcomed the snowbirds in attendance. We would definitely attend again. We are also from Michigan.

  My young grandson and I attended church this spring during spring break. Were made to feel very welcome. We're from Indiana and were pleased to find Hoosier Hospitality alive and well in Alabama. The 9-year-old even said "good service.

  As a first time visitor to Orange Beach, I sought out a church to attend, today.
  My husband and I were married in a Presbyterian Church 45yrs, ago. We attend a UCC. I am of Scottish heritage.
  I was very disappointed with the lack of friendliness of church attendees, today.
  A couple people said, "hello" as we retreated from the sanctuary. I decided to attend the coffee time, again, a couple people said, "hello" but none engaged me in conversation.
  Yes, I am one of those "snowbirds" but if I was seeking a home church, I would not choose Orange Beach Presbyterian. In fact, while I was talking to a friend on my phone, someone who over heard my conversation stopped me and related the same experience that she and her husband had at your church. They chose not to return.
  i would strongly urge you to find a way to greet strangers. The minister said he was glad to see me but never asked me where i lived ( although he gave several people big hugs) or showed any interest in having me return.
  First impressions last a long time so i hope you improve how you greet nonmembers. Like many "traditional" churches who are struggling with membership/attendance you definitely have room to improve.
  Would Jesus have been "ignored", today?
